The first two strangers I approached at #fortdrunkston last night were not even there for the meet. The looks on their faces were priceless when I told them it was b/c of @instagram. They were enamored at the idea of an “#IGCommunity”.

Come to think of it, I too am amazed at how this app has created a symbiosis between strangers; feeding off each other’s work, continually inspiring one another.

I wonder what @kevin and @Mikeyk were thinking when they created @instagram, if they knew the immense effect it would have on photography, and well, the world.

Whether or not you guys planned this, I just wanted to say THANK YOU. Your creation has become a beautiful, living, breathing creature made up of over 100 million users…and I am glad to be one of them. #1of100Million
